Brush teeth twice a day with a good soft/ medium toothbrush having rounded
bristles. Change your toothbrush once in 2-3 months or when the bristles
start fraying.

Use the correct tooth brushing technique: |

Apply the toothbrush diagonally to the edge of the gums at an angle of 45
degrees towards the teeth. Using light pressure, rotate the brush from the
red area towards the tooth.

Repeat these wiping movements (back and forth) at the same place 5-8 times
and then move on to the next group of teeth. In addition to this technique,
small circular movements may be made.

It is a very good practice to floss your teeth daily. Floss reaches those places in between your teeth were your tooth brush does not reach. | ||

Have a well balanced nutritious diet. Avoid excessive snacking between meals - especially sticky, sweet food and beverages. | ||

Visit your dentist regularly for a routine checkup. Your dentist is trained to assess your problem and give you professional advice and treatment. | ||
